Melissa Martin is an experienced journalist and media professional currently serving as Managing Editor at WSOC-TV Eyewitness News since July 2010, where roles have included Manager of Coverage and Content and Producer. Martin has effectively led coverage of significant breaking news events, including a special report on the NC 9th District Investigation revealing election fraud, extensive severe weather reporting, and comprehensive coverage of the funeral of Billy Graham. Prior to their current position, Martin worked as an Associate Producer and Assignment Editor at WSOC-TV, as well as in various intern roles across other media organizations. Martin holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina.
