Charla Skaggs

Charla Skaggs currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of Strategic Project and Government Relations at WSP since December 2022. Previously, Charla held the role of Principal Communications and Outreach Specialist at Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. from September 2016 to December 2022, and worked as a Senior Associate at EnviroIssues from September 2012 to September 2016, where communication strategies were developed for a variety of clients, including public agencies. Charla's extensive experience includes managing strategic communications and media relations at the Port of Seattle and advocating for legislation as Communications Manager for the Washington Public Ports Association. Additionally, Charla served as Assistant to the Executive Director at the Port of Tacoma early in the career. Charla holds a BA in Speech Communications, English, and Political Science from Texas A&M University and participated in Leadership Tomorrow from 2010 to 2011.
