Denise Mills is a Vice President of Hydrogeology at WSP, contributing to the Site Investigation and Remediation team in the Pacific Northwest since June 2024 and providing technical expertise in geologic and hydrogeologic investigations. Previously, Denise served as a Manager of Environment and Program Manager for the Upper Columbia River at Teck American Incorporated, focusing on remedial investigations and compliance with settlement agreements. Denise's experience also includes roles as Principal Environmental Scientist at Hawaiian Electric Company, Senior Hydrogeologist at Tetra Tech and CAPE, Inc., and Groundwater Hydrologist for the Hawaii Commission on Water Resource Management. Additionally, Denise has held management positions at the Washington State Department of Ecology and the Idaho Department of Lands. With a B.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of Washington and PhD coursework in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Denise also has a background in land use negotiation and conflict resolution.
