Michael Teasdale is a seasoned marine scientist and environmental expert with extensive experience in various roles within the marine and environmental sectors. Currently serving as Senior Scientist at WSP and Founder of HoldFastNL Seaweed Farm since 2022, Michael has also held the position of Senior Marine Scientist at Wood since 2017 and Environmental Lead for the Hebron Project from 2014 to 2017. Notable accomplishments include leading the development and implementation of environmental monitoring programs, securing permits under the Fisheries Act, and coordinating environmental assessments for significant offshore projects. Michael's professional background is supported by a Master’s Degree in Oceanography from Florida State University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Zoology and Slavic Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
