Roelie van Huyssteen

Roelie van Huyssteen is a highly experienced IT professional currently serving as the Global IT M&A Solutions Architect at WSP since January 2022, while also holding the position of Head of Information Technology for WSP in Africa since January 2007. In this role, Roelie is responsible for overseeing IT service delivery across Africa, aligning IT strategies with business needs, and ensuring operational excellence. Previous roles include IT Manager, where responsibilities included business continuity planning and managing shared IT services, and IT Infrastructure Manager, focusing on project management across the project lifecycle. Roelie's career began at WSP Group plc in January 2000 as a Network Analyst and IT Support Engineer, with significant achievements in managing extensive migration projects and supporting large user bases. Roelie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Industrial Electronic from Stellenbosch University, completed in 1999.
