Thomas Thornton is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in project management across various sectors, including transportation, airport, and utility projects. Currently serving as Vice President of Transportation at WSP, Thomas has held prominent roles at Knight E/A, Inc., managing multiple Illinois Tollway projects, and at McDonough Associates, overseeing significant airport and roadway developments. Previous positions include civil engineer project manager at URS Corporation and McDonough Associates, as well as project engineer roles at Globetrotters Engineering Corporation, Civil Design Group, and Decarlo and Doll, Inc. Thomas began their career as an assistant city engineer in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
