Eugenie Mainake is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Huie-Rogers Research Fellow at WSU College of Education, a position held since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Advising Assistant at the Carson Center for Student Success, focusing on undergraduate student advising from August 2022 to May 2023. From January 2019 to August 2022, Eugenie was a Research Assistant in the Department of Linguistics at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, contributing to research on virtual reality in language education. Eugenie holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Language, Literacy and Technology from Washington State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Southern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Universitas Pattimura.
