Brett Trimpe has extensive experience in engineering and education, currently serving as the Manager of Engineering Support at Evergy since May 2018 and as an Adjunct Professor of Design Technology at WSU Tech since August 2023. Previously, Brett worked with NASA as an Instructional Assistant for the Community College Aerospace Scholars program and held the role of Department Chair/Assistant Professor of Engineering Technologies at Butler Community College, where responsibilities included planning and teaching various engineering technology courses. Additional experience includes positions at Professional Engineering Consultants as a Structural CAD Technician, at Canton High School as an Industrial Technology Teacher and Yearbook Advisor, and at Methode Electronics as a Lab Technician II. Brett holds a Master of Science in STEM Education and Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Technology Teacher Education from Illinois State University.
