Debra Knox

Director Government Sales and Contract Administation (2005 to present) at WT Cox Information Services

Debra Knox has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Debra has been working at WT Cox Information Services since 1997 as the Director of Government Sales and Contract Administration. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all sales and activities related to government contracts, negotiating contracts with the government, and reviewing and authorizing bids and presentations.

Prior to their current position, Debra worked at W.T. Cox Subscriptions from 1997 to 2005 as the Director of Contract Services. In this role, they managed staff, reviewed proposals, prepared bid responses, and ensured department and company goals were achieved.

Before joining WT Cox, Debra worked at Ocean Ridge Farms, Inc. as an Assistant to the Director of Sales from 1995 to 1997. Their responsibilities included organizing client events, preparing sales awards, and maintaining relationships with sales staff and custom builders.

From 1989 to 1995, Debra worked as the Operations Manager at Land Art, a small business providing horticultural services. Their duties included bidding for services, managing staff, and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Prior to that, Debra held various roles, such as Production Manager at Corporate Reorganization Reporter from 1981 to 1989, Typography Manager at Jands, Inc. from 1978 to 1980, Assistant Manager of Word Processing at Professional Society of Architectural Engineers PSAE from 1976 to 1978, and Production Typist at Computer Science Corporation from 1973 to 1976.

Debra Knox attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1972 to 1974, where they pursued a degree in Business Management. Debra obtained an A.A.S. degree upon completion of their studies.
