Kate Salamida

Kate Salamida is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Director of Public Relations for WNYO 88.9 FM and a Morning News Anchor and Producer at WTOP-TV 10. At WNYO, Kate creates social media content and manages live coverage of Oswego State athletics, while also hosting a talk show called “Kates Corner” on WYNO. At WTOP-TV 10, Kate produces and hosts "On Deck," a sports show focusing on women in athletics. In addition to media roles, Kate has held positions in public relations, event planning, and communications across various organizations, including the SUNY Oswego Media Summit and HealthyWomen. Kate is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies at the State University of New York at Oswego, with prior education at New Visions Career Academy and Binghamton High School.
