Thomas Cafarella

Thomas Cafarella is an experienced media professional currently serving as an intern at WWNY TV while also working as the Executive News Producer at WTOP-TV 10 since September 2021. In this role, Thomas selects important news stories and assigns them to team members, facilitating effective news rundowns and maintaining constant communication with on-air talent. Previous responsibilities include directing productions, writing and presenting news broadcasts, and assisting as the Assistant Executive News Producer. Additionally, Thomas works as a Front Desk Attendant at State University of New York College at Oswego and has experience as a Grocery Supervisor at Pricechopper. Thomas is pursuing a degree at the same university, expected to graduate in 2025.
