Joy Savage

Joy Savage is an accomplished professional with extensive leadership experience in the healthcare and community service sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Wuchopperen Health Service Ltd and a Board Member at the Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre, Joy has held significant positions such as Acting Associate Deputy Secretary and Executive Director at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria. Previously, Joy was an Executive Director at Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and a Board Member of the Australian Healthcare & Hospitals Association. With a solid foundation in governance as a Member of the Board of Directors for The Fred Hollows Foundation and a former Chief Executive Officer at Aboriginal Hostels Limited, Joy's career also includes senior roles within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Department of Health and Ageing. Joy holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from James Cook University.
