Colin Campbell

Capitol Bureau Chief at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC

Colin Campbell has extensive experience in journalism and reporting, starting their career as a Reporter for the Smithfield Herald/News & Observer in 2009. Colin went on to work as a Raleigh City Government Reporter for The News & Observer Publishing Company and later became a Political Reporter, covering state government and politics. In 2017, Campbell joined NC Insider State Government News Service as an Editor before transitioning to a role as an Associate Editor at Business North Carolina in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Capitol Bureau Chief at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC.

Colin Campbell obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 2005 to 2009.
