Naomi P. Brown

Naomi P. Brown is an experienced journalist with a strong background in radio broadcasting and news reporting. Currently serving as the Midday News Host at North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC since January 2017, Naomi has also contributed as a fill-in host for All Things Considered and Morning Edition. Previous roles include Afternoon Reporter and Greensboro Reporter, focusing on daily news production and features about the refugee and international community. Naomi's experience spans various organizations, including WUSF Public Broadcasting, where Naomi worked as a News Fellow and Intern, and The Marshall News Messenger as a City Hall Reporter. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from Santa Fe College.
