Joonas Meriläinen

Joonas Meriläinen has extensive experience in technical architecture and web development, particularly within the Drupal ecosystem. Currently serving as a Technical Architect and Developer at Wunder since August 2012, following the merger with Mearra, Joonas previously worked at Mearra as a Developer, specializing in web services development. Prior roles include Drupal Developer at Gemilo Ltd., Webmaster at VuokatinHelmi, and Research Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, focusing on social learning environments and internet services. Early career began with positions in sales and computer services at Sotkamon Tietokeskus and KaisanKurvi, contributing to a diverse skill set in both technical and customer-oriented domains. Joonas holds a Master’s degree in Hypermedia, Multimedia, and Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology, and additional qualifications as an Erasmus student in Information Technology from Universidad de Zaragoza.
