Tim van der Plaats

Tim van der Plaats has a diverse work experience portfolio. Tim started in 2011 as a Sales representative at Mk Skiservice. In 2012, they founded Veisla.nl and served as the Founder until 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Co-Founder and in charge of Sales at Exhive, a digital project development agency. In 2018, they participated in a bootcamp programming at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In 2019, Tim co-founded and became the Director of Wunderbricks, a Proptech company specializing in property management solutions. In 2020, they co-founded CIAO, a workplace management platform focused on enabling companies to adopt the hybrid work model. Tim is currently still involved in CIAO, as of January 2023.

Tim van der Plaats has a diverse education history. Tim began their education at De Werkplaats Kindergemeenschap in 2000, where they completed their senior general secondary education with a focus on Economics and Society in 2013. In 2012, Tim attended the University of Cambridge for a year, where they pursued a graduate degree in English Language. In 2014, they furthered their language studies at the Universalidad de Don Quijote, obtaining a graduate degree in Spanish Language. Tim then shifted their academic path and joined the Hotel Management School Maastricht from 2013 to 2015, specializing in Hotel and Hospitality Management. Subsequently, from 2015 to 2019, they enrolled in Team Academy Amsterdam, where they studied Entrepreneurship. After that, Tim attended Growth Tribe in 2019, focusing on Artificial Intelligence.
