Greg Rouse

Greg Rouse is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in microgrid and distributed generation projects. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. since June 2020, Rouse has previously held key positions, including CTO and Managing Partner at IPP Connect, where expertise in control optimization and non-wires alternatives was developed. Rouse served as CTO for the Perfect Power Institute, contributing to the development of a LEED-style rating system for microgrids. Additional roles include Director of Technology at Endurant Energy and R&D Manager at Gas Technology Institute. Rouse’s background also includes managing advanced technology projects at Capstone Turbine Corporation and aerothermal design at Hamilton Sundstrand. Rouse holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and two Bachelor of Science degrees from UC San Diego in Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering.
