Alaa Sarhan

Alaa Sarhan has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2012. Alaa's career began as a Technical Lead at Syrian Educational Publishers in 2012. Alaa then moved to Senior Software Engineer at Nestpick in 2015, before taking on a Technical Lead role at synergist.io in 2018. In 2019, they took on a similar role at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. In 2020, they became a Technical Lead and Senior Full Stack Engineer at Doodle, and in 2022 they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at wundertax, where they had previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017-2018.

Alaa Sarhan graduated from Damascus University in 2012 with a B.Sc. in Information Systems and Software Engineering, a field of study in Information Technology.
