Chun Xia, currently a Senior Researcher and Project Coordinator at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, and Energy, focuses on international energy policy and systems transition, particularly in low carbon city development and building energy efficiency. Throughout their career, they have also worked as a Research Fellow, both as a freelancer and at the University of Osnabrueck, with research interests in water governance in China and transition management. Chun Xia holds a PhD in environmental governance from the University of Osnabrueck, as well as a MSc in Renewable Energy Management and Integrated Assessment. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai.
