Constanza Urbina Contreras

Constanza Urbina Contreras is a researcher at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy since February 2023, contributing to the Urban Living Lab Center, a UN-Habitat Collaborating Center associated with MIT and TU Berlin. Previously, Constanza held positions as a research assistant and intern at the same institution and served as a project manager at UYT S.A., where responsibilities included coordinating active mobility projects across Chile. An academic background includes a Master’s degree in Urban Management from Technische Universität Berlin and experience as a teaching assistant at Universidad de Chile in urban planning and architectural design. Additionally, Constanza has worked as an architect at Arbolaria Paisaje and Ciudad Emergente, contributing to various urban design and tactical urbanism projects, including a notable initiative that received the 2021 UN-Habitat Scroll of Honor.
