Lisa Kolde is a researcher at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy since August 2018, specializing in industrial transformation in the Rhenish lignite area within the "Structural Change and Innovation" research unit, where collaboration is fostered among science, business, and regional stakeholders to develop climate-neutral industry projects. Previously, Lisa worked as a junior researcher focusing on coal phase-out and the German energy system and served as a research assistant in the Energy Policy research unit. Prior experience includes a student assistant role at the Hans-Böckler-Stiftung, coordination of activities with the Network for Pluralist Economics, and training as a business journalist at Kölner Journalistenschule, complemented by internships in prominent media and commercial organizations. Education includes a Master of Arts in Ökonomie und Gesellschaftsgestaltung from Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung and a Bachelor of Science in VWL and Politikwissenschaften from the University of Cologne. Additionally, a study period was completed at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
