Parul Maheshwari

Parul Maheshwari started their work experience in 2014 as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. They were responsible for teaching analog circuit design and programming. In 2015, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where they focused on the construction and analysis of gene regulatory networks and used machine learning techniques. In 2019, they worked as a Data Science Intern at TripAdvisor, generating word2vec embeddings and using clustering methods for prediction. From 2020 to 2022, they held the position of Data Scientist II at TripAdvisor. In 2022, they joined Meta as a Software Engineer specializing in machine learning. They currently work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Wurl since 2023.

Parul Maheshwari pursued their education in a chronological manner. Parul first attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Btech - Mtech with Honors degree in Engineering Physics. Subsequently, they enrolled at Penn State University in 2015 and completed their studies in 2020, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Parul also obtained certification in "The Brain and Space" from Coursera in January 2020.
