In 2002, they became the Managing Director at Würth Svenska AB before moving to Würth Group in 2008 as the Executive Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for 12 companies across 9 countries and managed a team of 3,000 employees. After a successful tenure, they left the position in 2018. In 2019, they joined Norsk-Tysk Handelskammer as a board member. Currently, Svein Oftedal serves as the Managing Director at Würth Norge AS.
Svein Oftedal attended BI Norwegian Business School from 1987 to 1989, where they obtained a Diplom Markedsøkonom degree. Additionally, they pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing. Svein also completed two Diplom Eksportøkonom programs at BI Norwegian Business School.
