Bo Wang

Bo Wang is the Managing Director and Site Head of WuXi Biologics Germany GmbH, overseeing operations at the Leverkusen site since October 2019, ensuring compliance with GMP regulations from EU EMA, US FDA, and China NMPA, as well as EHS compliance and local regulatory requirements. Prior to this role, Bo Wang served as Senior Director - Head of Vaccine Engineering, responsible for designing and building vaccine facilities to support WuXi's growth. Experience also includes roles at Samsung BioLogics as Senior Manufacturing Manager, where Bo Wang managed sterile drug product manufacturing and validation efforts, and at Genentech as a Manufacturing Science and Technology Engineer, focusing on process validation and technology transfer. Earlier experience includes a position as a Process Engineer at Bayer Healthcare, specializing in the commissioning and validation of sterile filling facilities, and a Research and Teaching Assistant role at Oregon State University, working on process simulation and optimization in aerospace design. Bo Wang holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
