Sharon Chen

Sharon Chen is an experienced regulatory affairs professional with a strong background in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Global Head of RA CMC at WuXi Biologics since September 2021, Sharon has held significant positions at leading companies such as Merck, AstraZeneca, Daiichi Sankyo, and ImClone Systems. In particular, at Merck, Sharon holds the role of Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs, Vaccine CMC, while previous roles included Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs, CMC Biologics at AstraZeneca and similar positions at Daiichi Sankyo and ImClone Systems. Sharon began her career as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck (Schering-Plough Research Institute) and possesses extensive expertise in regulatory affairs and CMC in biologics and vaccines.
