Jun Xian

Jun Xian has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Jun began their career in 1996 as a Research Scientist at Hybridon Inc. In 1998, they became an Investigator at Cereon Genomics, LLC. In 2000, they were appointed HTS manager at Genome Therapeutics, Inc. In 2003, they were promoted to Assistant Director of Cancer Drug Discovery at Dana-Farber/Harvard Medical School Cancer Center. In 2006, they became Associate Director of Partners Center for Drug Discovery at Partners HealthCare/BWH. In 2010, they were appointed President of New Era Pharma, Inc. In 2012, they became Past President of Glixx Laboratories. In 2016, they were promoted to Vice President of Biology at Suzhou Sinovent Pharmaceuticals Co Ltd. In 2021, they were appointed Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales at Lexbio Therapeutics, Inc. Jun is currently Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales at Wuxi Biortus Biosciences Co., Ltd.

Jun Xian began their educational journey in 1979 when they obtained a B.S. in Chemistry from South China University of Technology. Jun then obtained an M.S. in Applied Chemistry from the same university in 1986. In 1989, they completed their Ph.D. in Chemistry from Wichita State University. Finally, from 1994 to 1996, they completed a Postdoc in Developmental Biology at Caltech.
