Sophie Winwood

Sophie Winwood is a distinguished entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of WVC:E since April 2022, where Sophie promotes inclusion, empowerment, and integration of venture capital on an international scale. As an Operating Partner at Foxe Capital from January 2024, Sophie backs early-stage founders at the intersection of technology and societal change. Additionally, Sophie is a member of Curve Club, a private community for founders and investors. Sophie's extensive investment portfolio includes positions at ergo, Twice Commerce, Opply, Ember, and Kaiko. Previously, Sophie was an Investment Principal at Anthemis Group, focusing on early-stage investing in FinTech and InsurTech across Europe and the US.
