Lee Haywood

Lee Haywood is an experienced meteorologist with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Chief Meteorologist at WWAY-TV, LLC since August 2019, Lee has previously worked as a Meteorologist at WSAV-TV from February 2000 to August 2019. Additionally, Lee contributed to the academic field as a Meteorology Instructor at Armstrong State University from January 2001 to August 2018, where responsibilities included teaching introduction to meteorology courses. Lee began the professional journey as a Meteorologist and News Reporter at KIMT-TV from February 1999 to January 2000. Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from UNC-Asheville.
