George Wolford is a subject matter expert at WWC Global and a Professor Emeritus at Dartmouth College. He held the Lincoln Filene Professorship for over two decades and also held an appointment at the Dartmouth Medical School.
He is a recognized expert in most areas of quantitative data analysis and has been teaching the Graduate Statistics sequence for several decades at Dartmouth. George has published over 90 papers in refereed journals, including several articles specifically pertaining to statistical analysis. He serves as the statistical consulting editor on two journals and is the statistician on two active NIH grants as well as a number of completed ones.
Dr. Wolford recently received an ig-Nobel Prize for his demonstration that many neuro-imaging studies are analyzed improperly.
His academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Mathematical Psychology from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State University.
