Michael’s senior counsel has resulted in achieved marked improvements in performance and competitiveness, assisting clients in solving challenging, complex management problems.

Michael had a distinguished 34-year military career. His last active duty assignment was as the Chief of Staff of U.S. Central Command. In his numerous key command and senior staff positions in the U.S. Army and in Joint Commands, he held a wide range of responsibilities. He has extensive knowledge of geopolitics, expertise in Army and Joint Operations, cyber defense, cutting edge training techniques and operational energy.

His extensive Middle East experience, battlefield experience from two combat tours, and service in the Pentagon, U.S. Central Command, Joint and Inter-agency programs, and Army Training and Doctrine Command provide significant depth to the expertise he delivers to clients.

His academic accomplishments include a bachelor’s degree from Carson Newman College and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California.
