Chanda Subedi

Environment Leader at WWF Nepal

Chanda Subedi is an experienced environmental advocate with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Saptagandaki Multiple Campus. Currently serving as Lead Ambassador at Extern since February 2023, Chanda previously excelled as a Student Ambassador for WWF Nepal and as an Environment Leader for Eco-Network. From January to July 2023, Chanda led a freshwater turtle conservation project funded by a grant from the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy, focused on habitat protection and awareness. Additional contributions include coordinating climate action initiatives with Green Rangers Earth and engaging with global conservationists during a remote externship with National Geographic. Chanda's early leadership roles include serving as Secretary for the Club Of Environmental Science Saptagandaki, where advocacy for conservation and environmental education was a priority.
