Janine Ysabel Peralta

Janine Ysabel Peralta is a Communications Officer at WWF-Philippines since June 2022, responsible for creating communications campaigns for the organization's advocacies and projects. Previously, Janine worked as a consultant for the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, helping to build a database of climate scientists from the Global South. As a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network, Janine engaged with a diverse group of journalists on climate change reporting from December 2021 to June 2022. Janine's earlier experience includes serving as a Digital Producer at CNN Philippines, where daily news articles were written across various topics, and as a Marketing Associate at Megamorphosis. Additionally, Janine has held roles as Social Media Manager and News Writer at The GUIDON and completed an internship at Rappler, covering the 2016 presidential elections. Janine has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University.
