Noah Charney is an established author and professor with extensive experience in the fields of art history, art crime, and writing. At W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. since 2013, Charney has made significant contributions as an author, while also serving as a columnist for The Daily Beast since 2012, where the "How I Write" column features interviews with fellow authors. In addition to positions at the American University of Rome and Brown University, Charney has played a key role as the Founding Director of The Association for Research into Crimes against Art since 2006. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Architectural History and Criticism from the University of Ljubljana, as well as multiple degrees in Art History from prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge and The Courtauld Institute of Art.
