Sarah Touborg began their work experience at McGraw-Hill Higher Education in 1993 as a Sales Representative, where they managed a territory of 15 colleges and received the Rookie of the Year award. Sarah then moved on to become the Executive Editor for English, Student Success, Philosophy, and Religion, growing the publishing program from $10.5 million to $16 million. In 2002, they joined Pearson Education as the Editor in Chief for The Arts, leading the team in Acquisitions and Product Development for publishing programs in the Arts and Humanities. During their time at Pearson Education, they conceptualized, developed, and launched various learning programs and services for Higher Education markets. Finally, in 2016, Sarah Touborg became the Editor and Vice President of the College Department at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc.
Sarah Touborg received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Harvard University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Sarah then pursued further education in Renaissance Literature and obtained a Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Cambridge, attending from 1990 to 1991. Sarah also holds a certification in Change Management, which they obtained from Proscii in January 2012.
