Steven Attardo's work experience includes various roles in the design and creative field. Steven started as a Designer at Rodrigo Corral Design from August 2009 to July 2011 before moving on to work as a Freelance Designer at Random House from July 2011 to October 2011 and at Newsweek from October 2011 to February 2012. Steven then joined HarperCollins Publishers as a Designer from February 2012 to November 2013. In November 2013, they established their own company, Steve Attardo Design, where they served as the Owner and Director. In September 2014, they worked as an Art Director at The New York Times until February 2015. Steven then joined W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. as an Art Director from February 2015 to November 2017, and later became the VP, Trade Design Director from November 2017 to February 2021. Currently, they are the Vice President and Creative Director at W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. starting from February 2021. Additionally, they have also worked as a Continuing Education Instructor at Pratt Institute from August 2016 onwards.

Steven Attardo attended the School of Visual Arts from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
