Makenzie Piatt

Makenzie Piatt is a seasoned broadcast journalist and video production professional with extensive experience in news anchoring, reporting, and multimedia production. Currently serving as the Morning and Noon News Anchor at WWNY TV since June 2017, Piatt also contributes to the Wings Team at Red Bull and has held roles at the Ohio University Office of Communications and Marketing and WOUB Center for Public Media. With a background that includes internships at The Kraft Heinz Company and multimedia journalism for Newswatch at Noon, Piatt has developed a diverse skill set in storytelling, video production, and audience engagement. Piatt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School at Ohio University.
