Outreach Manager

Title: Outreach Manager

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Direct reports received: 8 Regional Directors, Chairs of: Veterans, Faith Leaders, and Students affiliate groups

Time Commitment: 9 hrs/wk (M/Th/F 12pm-3pm

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

Oversees Regional Directors to optimize the recruitment, onboarding, and training of volunteers and reports and issues to COO

Project manager for our affiliate groups (Vets, Faith Leaders, Students)

Meets weekly with RD Team

Mentor and support the professional development of the Regional Directors

Report on regional activities, achievements, and challenges to COO

Charged with starting internships at colleges around the country

Coordinates DofD summit with COO

Qualifications:

High-School diploma or equivalent

Volunteer leadership experience

Volunteer management experience

Ability to intuitively discern next steps in any given situation
