Brent Ashcroft is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting. Currently serving as an Executive Reporter at FOX 17: WXMI TV since January 2024, Brent previously worked for WZZM 13 as a News Anchor and Storyteller from 2010 to December 2021, where Brent developed journalistic content and collaborated on award-winning stories. Brent began at FOX 17: WXMI TV as the Sports Director from 1999 to 2009, successfully establishing the sports department for the local affiliate. Prior experience includes serving as Sports Anchor and Reporter at WZZM 13 from November 1992 to November 1998 and an internship at WOOD TV8. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Grand Valley State University and an Associate's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Muskegon Community College.
