Prior to this role, Sean held the position of Director of Individual Giving at Share Food Program from November 2022 to October 2024 and served as Associate Director of Individual Giving at Philabundance for eight years. Sean possesses extensive experience in building relationships with high-capacity donors to secure significant contributions and has a proven track record in converting crisis-driven donations into ongoing commitments. Additionally, Sean has a diverse background in communications, content creation, and leadership roles across various organizations, including Rutgers University and several publications, all contributing to a solid foundation in journalism and nonprofit effectiveness. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Montana.

Who We Are: First and foremost, we're music fans. And for more than two decades, countless fellow fans, musicians, and business supporters have joined us in building a community that's uniquely focused on celebrating music discovery and connecting artists with new audiences. What We Do: WXPN provides an unparalleled musical listening experience featuring contemporary music from many genres including rock, indie, folk, blues, R&B, and alt country. Our playlist is broad and comprised of international, national, and local artists ranging from brand new on the scene to legendary in stature. How We Do It: WXPN is a member-supported radio station and nationally-recognized leader in Triple A (Adult Album Alternative) music programming. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) operation serving the Delaware Valley and Central PA areas. While our broadcast license is held by the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, we are financially independent and rely solely on the support of individuals who believe in our mission. We focus exclusively on delivering the needs to the community of music fans and artists we serve. WXPN serves the greater Philadelphia area at 88.5 FM, the Lehigh Valley at 104.9, Worton/Baltimore at 90.5 FM, Lancaster/Lebanon at 88.7 FM, Harrisburg at 99.7 FM, and the world via online streaming at XPN.org.
