Mia Carmel

Mia Carmel is an experienced Emergency Medical Technician currently serving at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center since January 2023 and at SeniorCare Emergency Medical Services since April 2022. Prior to this, Mia worked as a Paralegal at Teitler & Teitler LLP from September 2020 to March 2022, and as a College and Career Advisor at Comprehensive Development, Inc. from August 2019 to August 2020. Early career experience includes a Policy Intern position at Community Works West in June 2018, and an Orientation Advisor role at the University of Maryland from December 2015 to August 2017, where responsibilities included leading orientation programs for new students. Additionally, Mia interned as a Logistics Intern for the Climate Action Summit 2016 at the University of Maryland. Mia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Public Policy from the University of Maryland, completed in 2019, and graduated with a High School Diploma from Walt Whitman High School in 2015.
