Patrick Heinen

Patrick Heinen has worked in the field of visual effects for several companies. Patrick started their career in 2010 as a Compositing Intern at Freiraum FX GmbH. Patrick then gained further experience as a Compositing Intern at RISE | Visual Effects Studios in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Compositor at Blackmountain VFX Studios and also completed their bachelor thesis at Celluloid Visual Effects GmbH & Co. KG.

In 2013, Patrick joined Framestore as a Freelance VFX shoot assistant and Freelance Compositor. Patrick also worked at The Mill as a Nuke Artist and Freelance Compositor during the same year.

In 2018, they joined Luma Pictures as a Freelance Compositor and Wylie Co. as a Compositing Supervisor. At Wylie Co., they later took on the role of Visual Effects Supervisor in August 2019.

Patrick's work experience showcases their progression and expertise in the field of visual effects, with a focus on compositing and supervisory roles.

Patrick Heinen completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Audiovisual Media at Stuttgart Media University from 2009 to 2013.
