Kiera Benson

Kiera Benson is an experienced professional in the field of metallurgy and process engineering. Currently serving as Test Laboratory Manager at Wyman Gordon since January 2014, Kiera has held roles as Senior Metallurgist and Product Metallurgist, focusing on evaluating materials and processing non-conformances and leading process qualifications. Prior experience includes a position as Process Engineer (Materials) at Gerdau Long Steel North America, where Kiera contributed to various improvement projects in the Melt Shop and participated in safety initiatives. Kiera's internship at Newmont Mining Corporation included practical metallurgical assignments, supporting hands-on learning in the field. An education in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines culminated in a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012.
