Gene Kierman

Gene Kierman currently serves as HOD Music at Wynberg Boys Junior School since January 2020. Additionally, Gene Kierman has been a freelance composer, performer, and designer since January 1991. Academic qualifications include an Honors in Composition from the University of Cape Town (2016-2017), a Bachelor of Arts in Culture, Ecology, and Sustainable Community from New College of California (2005-2006), training in Electronic Music Software at Diablo Valley College (2002-2003), a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Cape Town (1991-1994), and incomplete studies in Classical Percussion at William Paterson University of New Jersey (1990-1991).
