Abdul Melhem, CHIA, is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in franchise operations and hotel management across various regions, including the Middle East, Africa, and Canada. Currently serving as the Director of Franchise Operations for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts since December 2020, Abdul oversees a diverse portfolio of over 50 properties, focusing on revenue growth and operational excellence while enhancing guest experiences and managing significant renovation projects. Previous roles include Franchise Operations Manager for Wyndham in Western Canada, where Abdul successfully managed a portfolio of 96 hotels, and Franchise Performance Support Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group, supporting over 50 hotels. Abdul also held key management positions as General Manager at Holiday Inn and Delta Hotels By Marriott, leading teams to high performance and guest satisfaction. Abdul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education.
