Michael Kummer is a Research and Development Engineer at Wyss Zurich since February 2018, bringing extensive experience in engineering and project management. Previously, Michael served as an Application Engineer at Mecos AG, where responsibilities included managing the development of magnetic bearings and providing technical sales support. Additional roles include being a Guest Lecturer at the Polytechnic of Namibia, a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich focusing on microrobotics, and freelance work in sports information management. Michael holds a PhD in Biomicrorobotics from ETH Zurich, alongside degrees in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich. An early educational foundation included an exchange program at Lake Forest College and a general qualification for university entrance from Gymnasium Immensee.
