Christine Tovee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christine currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Wyvern, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Investment Advisory Board Member at Spaced Ventures from March 2021. In 2018, they founded and became the Principal of CATx Technology, a role they continue to hold. Simultaneously, they also served as a Panel Member at the Independent Review Panel for Defence Acquisition- Department of National Defence, starting in June 2018. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Board Member at Satellite Canada Innovation Network. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Airbus Group Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer from 2012 to 2015, at EADS as the Chief of the Staff to the Chief Technical Officer from 2010 to 2012, at EADS Astrium Services as the Programme Director for Ka Band and UAS from 2008 to 2010, at Paradigm Services as the New Systems Technical Manager from 2005 to 2008, and at BAE SYSTEMS as the Type 45 Combat System Trials Assurance Manager from 2004 to 2005.

Christine Tovee completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering Science (Aerospace) from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 1988 to 2003. Christine then pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1999.
