Yi Zhao

Yi Zhao has extensive work experience in software engineering and management roles. They began their career as a Software Developer Intern at Harmonic Inc, where they implemented new features and tested video processing libraries. They then joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, focusing on the Global Payment Platform. After that, they worked at eBay as a Staff Software Engineering Manager, leading a team responsible for eBay's delivery experience and supporting key initiatives. Currently, Yi Zhao holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Wyze, where they are responsible for building a unified cloud platform and accelerating product development and deployment while ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.

Yi Zhao has a diverse education history that includes certificates in Data Science and Project Management from the UW Professional & Continuing Education. They also hold a Master of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, Yi Zhao completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Communication/Electrical Engineering at Fudan University from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Yi Zhao obtained a certification as an ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) from ICAgile in March 2018.
