Corey Bienstock

Principal Research Scientist at X-Chem

Corey Bienstock has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Corey began their career as a Scientist at Neogenesis in 2001 and worked there until 2005. Corey then joined the Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Scientist II in the Lead Discovery Group, where they stayed for five years until 2010.

In 2010, Corey joined Merck as a Scientist in the Bioanalytical Group. After seven months, they transitioned to the role of Scientist in the Parallel Medicinal Chemistry Group. Corey worked at Merck until 2013, gaining valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Corey's most recent position is at X-Chem, Inc., where they have held multiple roles since 2014. Corey started as a Research Scientist (Contractor) and later became a Senior Research Associate. Corey then progressed to the role of Principal Research Associate before eventually being promoted to Research Scientist. In March 2021, Corey was appointed as a Senior Research Scientist at X-Chem, Inc.

Throughout their career, Corey has amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise in research and development, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.

Corey Bienstock earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science at the University of Connecticut, from 1999 to 2001.
