Oleg Sannikov

Oleg Sannikov has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research. Oleg currently works as a Scientist at X-Chem, Inc. since October 2022. Previously, they worked at The University of British Columbia as a Research Assistant in the NMR facility from November 2020 to August 2022. Oleg'sresponsibilities included maintaining the facility, providing services to clients, and assisting research projects. Before that, Oleg was a Research Assistant and Research Volunteer at Simon Fraser University. Oleg also served as a Teaching Assistant at the university, where they conducted organic chemistry classes and labs, assessed students' knowledge, and published a paper in a peer-reviewed journal. During their time as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant, Oleg focused on developing carbohydrate processing enzyme inhibitors for orphan diseases. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, supporting investigations on lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery. Overall, Oleg has demonstrated expertise in scientific research and has made contributions to various projects in the field.

Oleg Sannikov completed their education in a primarily science-related field. Oleg first pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics, and Automation (Technical University) from 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution from 2009 to 2011.

Following their studies in Russia, Oleg Sannikov ventured abroad to Simon Fraser University, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry from 2015 to 2019.
