Steven P. Keller is a Co-Founder and CEO at X-COR Therapeutics and was previously an Instructor of Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital from July 2016 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh from July 2015 to June 2016 where they worked as a physician-scientist investigating novel methods of extracorporeal support for treatment of cardiopulmonary failure. Keller has also been a Fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital from July 2013 to June 2015 where they investigated the use of extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in the management of sudden cardiac arrest utilizing a large animal model of cardiac arrest. Their research interests are focused on the use of extracorporeal support for the management of acute and chronic respiratory failure, right ventricular failure, and cardiac arrest.

Steven P. Keller received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Purdue University. Steven then received a Master's Degree in Microelectronics and Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge. After that, they received a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, they received a Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine.
